I had bought a vibrant Gerbera Daisy with 2 blooms and a bud. Currently one of the flower starts to wilt and petal starts to fall off.Is it time for me to deadhead the bloom? If so, how far I should cut it from the crown?

Besides that, I found out the bud stem has recently curved into "S" shape and thinner. Does it matter?

Thanks!

I pinch off the stem as close to the base as is comfortable when the petals have dropped. Or you can let it go to seed to experiment with. Don't know about that little twisted stem.
