My first lily to bloom here in Arcata, California. L. tsingtauense

I have a lot of buds on others, but my natives lilies from Humboldt County looks like they are going to bloom early compared to past years.

I purchased 2 years ago several L. pardalinum by mail order. They didn't bloom last year but the first one bloomed today. NOT pardalinum

I have 10 + containers of pardalinum but they are from the same bulb.

Looks very much like Martagon 'Sunny Morning' aka Lily (Lilium 'Nicotine').

Definitely a martagon. You must not have noticed, but the bulb looked different from the western North American lilies, like pardalinum.

Thanks for the help on the martagon "Sunny Morning". I didn't think I could grow martagons here in Humboldt Co. - Calif. I did notice the shape of the bulbs was different.

L. pardalinum ssp shastense bloomed today
