What is the best way to divide 10 " potted Xanadu ?
Never had this plant before , Can the roots be pulled apart easily ?
Or will I need to cut through the roots ?
Thank you

Melissa, I have Xanadu as a outside landscape plant that now makes up a 9'+ circle. I have to keep the size in check to be able to get in and out of my backdoor. I have not had the best of luck with cutting out some plants with roots over the years. I would put the success rate at 10%. I now just cut it back when needed and let it regrow. The roots are a tangled mess under the plant.
If I were you I would just move it to a little larger pot for now and forgo separating it. When it becomes to large for you, a good trim will keep the size in check.
