I have a mini-hosta. I have lost the garden name tag. The leaves are, I would say ovate. There are only 4 vein pairs. Dull on top and slightly shiny beneath. There is some creamy edges to the margins. There is also a leaf with a central creamy streak. Leaves are about 1.5-2" long. For some reason I was thinking it might have been 'Cameo' but it does not look like other Cameo images. Maybe it has reverted? Thank you!

Too bad there is not a hosta key to narrow down the possibilities. Start with color, size, shape, leaf shape, vein pairs etc
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

I agree that Hosta Library is a great resource. You have to have an idea what you are looking for otherwise you could spend days looking through all of the listings.

I think it might be 'Chi Town Classic'. Can anyone confirm?

It does look a lot like what some of my 'Charlotte's Web' settled to.

Can anyone identify this hosta? Grows very fast, easy to divide. Seems to be a large plant and if I remember it will get lavender flowers.

I saw you posted it on FB. Has anyone suggested Fortunei Aureomarginata? MIne blooms in early August.

The leaf shape does look like Fortunei Aureomarginata but they appear more cup-like. Could be though.

ViolaAnn, I found my Chi Town Classic right by the edge of my patio. Duh! I did have a Charlotte's Web. I'll bet you are right on this if yours now looks like this one. Thanks! Thank You!

This was my 'Charlotte's Web' last July. Quite a lot that had stabilized. But I earlier had a large plant I had separated off this. I called it 'Chi-Town Classic' at first and then decided it wasn't really the same. I eventually gave that plant away.

I think C-T C should have a pretty even margin.
