Million Pollinator Garden Challenge

I once posted a picture of a plant I called 'What the What'. Got some good ideas as to what it might be. The problem now is that it's sick. I don't know what the what is wrong with my What the What plant.

A sick leaf. Apologies that these are not the best pictures. Maybe some type of rust sickness?

The plant looks very similar to the pineapple plant, from what I can see my guess would be some type of fungus, I'm sure other members will know..

I agree with Christine, your plant does look like Pineapple (Ananas comosus)

and I also agree that the leaf in question appears to have a fungal infection. I'd remove that leaf and sprinkle cinnamon (a natural fungicide) on the cut. Make sure there's good air circulation around the plant.

You might consider using an organic garden fungicide.
One is called Garden Safe Fungicide 3
Sunset Zone 28, AHS Heat Zone 9, USDA zone 8b~"Leaf of Faith"
