Last fall when we began to pick raspberries we found most of them had a little white worm inside. From studies I have found this a new bug since 2012. Very hard to control. I really miss my raspberries. Any suggestion how to fight this pest? Raspberries are growing good this spring again, Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Are you referring to the spotted wing drosophila? Is it a positive ID because there are other whitish wormy things that can affect raspberries. It may also help to know where in the world you are located.

I think you must go on with the pest control service once to get rid off the worms. My cousin also has the same problem once, but after hiring the pest control service from the exterminator Elk Grove professionals, he finally got the relief from the infestation. Thanks to the team who took care of the other plants too in the garden by using the organic matter in their spraying. You can also go this way to get rid of the worms and can save your raspberries too.
