The Friday before Mother's Day, my mom had a stroke. I wanted her to go to the doctor, neither of us knowing this had happened, but she wanted to wait till Monday.

She has a long way back to getting back to a normal life, as well as changing her foods she eats, and since she does, eventually, so will I.

I wish I could do more for her, and I know I don't come to this site as often as I'd like to (missing the current raffle, though I don't have any acorns).

I don't know how this works, but I read a while back seeds sometimes are given away here, and I'm trying to work on my moms garden, which is all flowers, especially her love of hummingbirds (we have one Butterfly plant, which they love when in bloom).

The message above this state not to put email address nor phone number, so leaving my address, I assume, is another no-no. But I live in Atlanta, Ga.

I was told to "Treemail," which I don't really understand, but in doing so others might have info (added where I live).

Anyways, thanks for those taking the time to read this. God Bless.

You can do a quick edit to your post to invite people to send you a Treemail to let you know what kind of seeds they have to offer to you for your mom's garden. In the Treemail system, you can exchange personal information such as addresses.

It would help us to know your climate zone so folks can send seeds appropriate for your climate.

It's a nice thing you are doing for your mom. Lovey dubby

Thanks for your help. I realize I haven't been here in a while, but all the appointments, tests, physical therapy and getting all the results, as well as dealing with her lack of memory, her weaknesses and trying to find low/no salt items that she can eat, and me being disabled. It's been trying, but one of my sisters is coming over sometime tomorrow, so I can get a couple hours break. I can then work on weeds, if my knees work with me. Thanks again.
