Toni, any chance you could get your "angled bitter-aged" in the database? I'm interested in that plant and googling it isn't bringing it up. Is there another name for it?

Beautiful setting by the way!

Connie-
Not only did spell check sabotage my spelling *Blush*
Also, I had misinformation regarding angled bitter-cress *Blush* *Blush*
It actually appears to be Vancouveria hexandra inside-out flower. I wouldn't even had known of the typo or the misinformation without you comment. Thank You!

Hilarious! , Toni, I know what that's like! The auto correct has embarrassed me many times! Even now at work, after the latest upgrades I've quickly typed and sent an email and found out it auto-corrected something simple of mine to something totally ludicrous!

Okay, so, Vancouveria hexandra inside-out flower. I googled that and got the info! Unfortunately for me, it is zone 5. I can sometimes get away with a plant with zone 4 ratings, but not zone 5. :(

Thanks for looking into it!

Connie~
So does that mean it is too cold at your place for this to grow? I am confused cuz if you can get away with zone 4... isn't that colder than zone 5 Confused

Yes, that's right. I am in a Zone 2b area (or 3 if looking at the other zone chart). Most zone 3 plants are safe here and many zone 4 are fine but not all. Every zone 5 plant I've tried has not survived our severe winters. If zone 5 is the lowest number the plant is rated for, I usually don't take a chance on them anymore.
