Years ago I used a blossom set spray. It may have been Giberillic Acid(SP) What is your experience with blossom set sprays?

I once used Blossom Set back in the 60's trying to get the early tomato. Used it on Early Girl and Field's Hi-X. Could get a small jump (10 days or so). Worked better on the Hi-X than Early Girl which never impressed me as an early tomato. Fruits that set under Blossom Set were seedless. The active ingredient is Kinetin (Furfuryladenine) which is also used in patent medicines particularly anti- aging creams.

Thanks Dill. It might be fun to try. I have never been impressed by Early Girl but I bet it is a top seller.....
