I was told when I first purchased hydrangeas that they can be different color based on what's used in the soil. Is this the case? I keep reading about PH? I have pink hydrangeas currently and would love to get some blue ones as well. Do certain types of hydrangeas come in certain colors or is it what you use when planting? Thanks!

You can change the color of the pinks to blue and the reds to purple by having acidic soil.
This can be found at many garden centers, do not overuse or you can burn the roots.
You can not change the colors of the whites and greens.
