Planted Big Ben in 2014

Bloomed in 2016, but this years bloom was much bigger:)

Full double red flowers with little sidebuds. Fine leaflets, reddish stems and sweet fragrance. Double, Red & Early. Tall. Fragrant. Medium dark red bomb. Large blooms on stiff stems. No buds 2015.

I was going to ask the exact same thing!!!We need a picture with a ruler so we can OOOOHHHH and AAAAAHHHH!!!! And is it fragrant?

Nice!!! Reminds me of the very first Red Charm I saw in person--a cut flower at the UofM peony garden. Think my tongue practically rolled out of my head...Such a shame their season is so fleeting, don't think there is any other flower that can compare with the beauty of a peony.
