I have (4) Siberian Irises, planted 2 years ago. This year they are in bloom. However, they are only barely 12-inches tall. Is this normal for Siberians?
I thought they would be much taller.

Thank You!

I think there ARE some "dwarf" varieties, but he shortest one I grow is about 16"-18", and the tallest about 40". I do think that mine HAVE gotten taller, as they established.

I have a dwarf Siberian iris. It is only 12 inches tall. My other Siberians are much taller at around 2 feet.
This is the dwarf, 'Annick'.

The Siberians that are in bloom are 'Butter & Sugar' , 'Tree of Songs' , 'Sparkling Rose' and 'Sugar Rush'. I'm hoping that all of these will get taller as the years go on ......

The named sibs I have all took their sweet time before they grew and bloomed like the old established clumps. I'm sure yours will be just fine in a few years! Crossing Fingers!
You don't know if it will grow until you try!
