My bee balm was shredded by hail. What should I do? There are not many leaves left and the ones that are left are only partial leaves. Should we cut them to the ground, and will they come back again this year.

I can't wait for our first hail storm when all my plants get shredded; its one of those summer high points. Luckily, the plants always recover.
