Sometimes you may find yourself as a recipient of a group tree-mail. While this is a nice functionality, sometimes it can be bothersome, especially if you're not interested in the topic and you'd prefer to unwatch it.

As of today you can now do that. Open the group mail, scroll to the bottom, and click on "Remove yourself as a recipient of this Tree-Mail". Follow the screen and you'll be completely removed from the mail. You will then no longer be notified of new replies, and you won't be able to access it. In fact, it'll be as if you never got the mail in the first place.

Oh that's cool! I was added into one a while ago for those interested in a plant give-away, I wasn't but it was a large group and went on for a long time and then when the plants started arriving, more t-mails.

That seems like a great feature, Dave!

(even though I've never been the recipient of a 'group tree-mail' Sad ) Hilarious!

Sandy, I have and it often becomes tedious to clear away all those 'new' email responses from others that have no relevance for me. Shrug! This new feature makes me happy. Big Grin

I remember that member @JB had a bad experience with a group Treemail here:
The thread "Group TMail in my Tmail box" in Site Talk forum

Of course, Super Dave Hurray! fixed things back then; now he has improved the site for all of us who may be part of a group Tree-Mail. Thumbs up
