I have several daylily plants that are healthy but haven't flowered in what is now three years. Is there anything i can do?

How much sun are they getting? Ideally they should get at least 6 hours of direct sun a day. Also, how deep are they planted? The crown ( the point where foliage and roots join) shouldn't be more than 1 inch below the surface of the soil. And they need regular deep watering.
