I paid a service to identify this tree/shrub, they identified my plant as a "Photinia Serratifolia (syn. Photinia serrulata" or Chinese Photinia, I would like a second opinion. I believe the plant has a shot hole, spot disease AND a mold issue also. I am unsure what color flowers/berries bloom when in season. I am located near Seattle Washington if that helps.

I agree. Photinia serrulata. If that was my tree, I'd cut it almost to the ground, dispose of all branches, leaves, etc and then treat the new growth.

Thank you Islander, so Chinese Photinia Smiling and YES on that big chop, completely agree! Just trying to research the best time to cut and how to treat it with a fungicide during that process.

Thank you!
