As you can see in attached pics some of the stems on my 'Lord Biltmore' curve and coil out at the bottom. Should I remove them or let them go?

More stems=more flowers.
alternatively... you could try tossing soil and/or mulch on the stems and see if they root... new plants...

Personally... I don't get the urge to trim stuff back...
