Hello,

I have so many mystery plant/seedling ID questions, but can't help it. I have to know! Around March I found this unusual seedling in a bed I had recently expanded. When I felt it, the needles were stiff, it feels exactly like some sort of conifer. It has grown steadily since. I would really like help in knowing what it is to aide me in its care requirements, size, and so forth.

I live in San Diego County. Zone 10a. Sunset Zone 24. About ten blocks from the ocean.

Thank you,
Carly

It is a conifer. Look at the trees around and see if you can identify its parent.

Hi Daisy,

Ok cool, I was hoping so. I will look and compare.

Thank you,
