|Beautiful blooms but not a lot of bud here in zone 6b|

|I have only had this one a couple of years but as Boyd stated, mine does not get a lot of bloom either. It is hardy in my zone though and has beautiful blooms. Hopefully as it forms a clump the bloom will last longer.

|It behaves like an evergreen that is not totally happy with the climate. Limited bud count and blooms lower than registered. It has multiplied, and it can be very beautiful, but questionable whether it should be taking space here. For those who hybridize, I wonder about its fertility.

|Not much of a daylily person, but recently got a bunch in the last year or so because they're so carefree. I got two large double fans of these in a trade last year and planted them. They both bloomed the same year, and I enjoyed the rich color. Mine was a pretty rich dark purple, if I remember correctly. I believe at least one of them is putting up scapes now.|
