Growing green onions for the first time. Used sets. They have been in the grown for 28 days - package says they should be ready between 3-4 weeks. I pulled a couple, and they still have a small bulb/set (not sure what it's called at this point) at the bottom. Does this mean they aren't ready? Green stems are about 8 inches tall. Thanks!

Iowa person. Hi ! 😁😁😁
Them dudes just about look like there trying to make bulbs. They just/probably might. They look nice. Start eating now. They will grow more leafy greens also. I would leave some, six to eight inches apart. I'll bet, they will grow you, some big-ol Juicy onions.
Keep in touch with me. Thumbs up
