I love to see posts that show just how much a first bloom can be so different, I have had a few I could swear could not possibly be right, but were. |

I've never experienced such a drastic change before from one bloom to the next. I was reminded to practice patience today... Bravery is not being unafraid. Bravery is being afraid and living life anyways. |

I had an experience with a daylily changing dramatically several years ago. When I first purchased Banned in Boston, the first few blooms on it didn't look anything like the bloom should have. In fact I thought I was sent the wrong plant. After about a week of blooming it finally got it right. Look at the differences in these pics.
