I planted this is a container and I like it so much, I want to plant a few more in my garden. Unfortunately, I don't remember what it is. The flowers are about the size of a quarter and have a yellow dot in the center. The oval leaves are a little furry. Can anyone tell me what this is?

Dwarf Morning Glory (Evolvulus)?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost

That looks right. I am surprised that I would have bought anything in the morning glory family since I have been battling the vines in my garden for years. However, it looks like this one is an annual and is not a vine. I am always searching for blue flowers and this one is a particularly pretty blue.

Thanks.

That one is called Blue Daze (Evolvulus glomeratus) and it is not a vining plant.

Here's a not very good photo of our Evolvulus blue daze, they are described as an annual but I bring my baskets inside during the winter (I do have a greenhouse) and they are on their third or fourth year. They even won a blue ribbon for flowering basket at our county fair. We just LOVE the pretty blue flowers. The plants are very forgiving, also- often I've found them dry and shriveled up, some water and they look good as new the next day. You don't have to worry, Lindajp, they aren't invasive at all, several years in the same basket and no seed drop or anything. This year I found a new variety, Evolvulus Blue My Mind, the flowers are slightly larger and the foliage is also bigger- I'll thought I took a photo but can't find it now...
