|My climbing rose - sorry unsure of type- has developed very strange flat blooms. The first bloom of the year was normal, although small. All subsequent blooms have looked normal as buds but when open they look very strange indeed. Image uploaded. What has caused this please. Does anyone know. The rose did suffer from greenfly for which I have sprayed with a proprietary rose pest spray.
Any help would be much appreciated.

|Hi there 😁
Most likely damage from greenflys.
Also, possible from spray, or if greenflys carry a disease, or from some other bug. Try blasting roses with water everyday in early morning, for 10 or so days. It'll wash greenflys, aphids and chemicals off. And watch for other bugs. Fertilizer or better yet ! systemic bug fertilizer.
Anything i say, could be misrepresented, or wrong.
