This is my first blooming seedling of my first ever cross, 'Sahara' x 'Tiny Bee'. I have another that should bloom in the next month and hopefully the rest will bloom next year.
Knowing how and being able are two entirely different things.
James, that's a very nice clear yellow, and the spots and spot placement are ethereal, as in stars in the sky!
Anthony and Tracey, love that Temma cross. Really nice color hues. And Tracey, your showing a lot of striking possibilities. If those stamens on the fourth to the last are that white, it could be a good trait to work with!

My volunteer trumpet seedling. This was dumped outside with my chaff after sorting seed. Saw it growing in a big pot by where I dump my chaff. This year a stem came up.
Based on my 2015 crosses, I believe it's either Copper Angels x Summer Palace or a henryi hybrid x summer palace.
There's nothing like finding some frozen pollen from a now thought to be extinct cultivar in the freezer... I'll be daubing some Gold Eagle Clone pollen on a Gold Eagle Clone seedling I have had for years. The pollen was frozen and stored in 2008. I'll see where I can take this...
Sad when you don't exactly know the parents (can guess but won't) due to using the wrong pencil by accident and it being unreadable yet very happy with the results .
