Hi all!

I'm new to Michigan, and my Basil seems to be getting eaten by something. It has also moved in to mint and lemon balm, but not nearly as severely as it is affecting the basil.

Look carefully among the growing tips for tiny red bugs or larger yellow/lime green and black striped ones. The small red ones are the young of the striped adults. You have to be quick because they readily drop out of sight. It looks like damage from the four-lined plant bug which loves plants in the mint family. Some pictures of adults, nymphs and damage:
