|So, I've recently moved to Dallas-Ft. Worth Area in Texas from Houston and I'm starting to see a lot of these weird bugs show up around my plants.
I currently live on the 3rd floor of an apartment so my garden consists of plants all in pots. I'm growing Lemon Balm, Catnip, Peppermint, Basil(Just sprouted), Marigold(Just sprouted), a Vinca, a small Spider Plant, Cumberland Raspberry and Rabbiteye "Climax" Blueberries.
I've attached a picture of the bug in question and I'm just curious what attracts them. I see them all over the Lemon Balm, so that's what I'm assuming is the plant it likes. I just want to know if it's bad for the plants and what the bug is.

|It's one of the life stages of a leafhopper sharpshooter. They have a lot of different names depending on which part of the life cycle they're in, what species it is, and where you are from.
