There are this black squishy looking bugs on my flowers. I was trying to figure out what they are and if I should be worried about them but I'm not having any luck searching on google. Anyone know what these are?

I'm no expert but it looks like the larval stage of a lady bug - they devour aphids. It's a keeper!

Thank you so much! Aphids have been a pain in my butt so that's awesome. Never seen a lady bug larva before.

Yep, lots of folks pray to have ladybugs in their garden. Then they squash anything they don't recognize. These little guys are fairly ugly but they work cheap. Thumbs up

Normally I would advise you to use the garden hose to squirt all the aphids away, but no, don't do that now. You would also be getting rid of the good guys. Just keep an eye on the situation for a while.

Another thing to look for are the ladybug eggs. Here is a video showing what to look for. https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
