This is my first homegrown daylily (not bought in a gallon pot Big Grin ) but the packaging (that is now gone) didn't specify a cultivar. 18" scape with a 3" diameter bloom. Does anyone recognize it? Thanks in advance!

Hi Jackie,

Perhaps it could be Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Happy Returns')

This one is always readily available in the box stores as a potted plant and I even think I saw it available this year in those packaged CVs.

It might help if we knew where it was purchased, some mass-marketers/vendors tend to sell from a limited selection of varieties.

First off -- Thank You! for your responses!

@GaNinFl
I will definitely look closely at the pictures and compare the filaments and pistils, etc. Thank you so much!

@califlowers
I believe I bought them at Home Depot - "Daylilies" -- 5 to a bag, all the same kind. The others haven't bloomed yet but I'm pretty sure they'll all be the same.

Looks quite like Lullaby Baby to me , it cream or does it have a blush tone? Lullaby baby was pretty cream when I had it (in the UK) but I am not an expert and probably totally wrong!

@scatterbrain It is very cream colored. I will check out Lullaby Baby - thanks for the suggestion!

@vharmon I agree I figured it was a long shot... nodding
