First, hello to all, this is my first post. A friend is is removing these from her yard and asked if I want some of them. I need to know what it is and how invasive it may be. Can you identify it for me?. I am in post falls, I'd

Cannot see enough detail.
It looks like Aegopodium podagraria..common name Ground elder.
It is very invasive.
Don't introduce it to your garden.
It will take over...as it has already done in your friends garden.
Once you have it it is very hard to eradicate.

I agree, yourplant looks like Ground Elder a/k/a Bishop's Goutweed a/k/a/ Goutweed (Aegopodium podagraria)

I would first ask your friend if he/she has had issues with the plants spreading and being invasive in her garden, or call your local extension service: https://www.uidaho.edu/extensi... and ask for advice on the plant ... it may be that it's not so aggressive in your part of the country.
