I like he judging picture because it shows the variety of iris being judged. Quite a few purple and white plicatas, then very ruffled new ones, and older form ones. I think it would be hard to choose which one is the best. I really like the iris used in the last arrangement you posted (with the semi-circles). I wonder what it is. On the subject of judging, we have a variety show, so each variety is judged against itself and any duplicates. For Queen the best of the blues are brought up and pared away until there are five or six left and then the judges (not including any who have iris left on the table) vote by ballot. |
