Can someone help me identify if this is a male or female flower ? (Icebox watermelon )
I think male because it's only been open since yesterday, now closing. Just want to make sure

Male. The female flower will have a tiny watermelon at the base of the flower (just above where your fingers are).

Oh okay thanks!
One more question.
Once the female flowers come in, I problably need to hand pollinate them, because we don't have many bees right now
What if there's no male flowers avaliable?

I'm sure there will be plenty of male flowers hanging around when the time comes. Smiling

Male flowers usually open first, but sometimes you'll get an early female. If there are no males flowers open at the time then that fruit is simply not going to set, it'll turn yellow and fall off the vine. Don't worry, the plant will make many more.
