Just though I would share my first bloom of the season!
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Orange Electric')
Flower bud the day before opening.
Opened bloom. Temperature 89° at 2:30pm and color was holding nice and strong.

Nice bloom! Is this cultivar always early for you?

I received this plant last year, so this is the first year I have had it bloom. All of my daylilies have bud up and at least 4 have been blooming. Even the later season ones have buds up. I think the mild winter may have boosted them all.
