Maybe a Camellia?

At first glance, I thought Jade too, but although the foliage is opposite, a view of the bigger version of the pic shows it is not any form of Crassula ovata.

Camellia would be more unusual in a pot inside, but I get the same vibe.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your replies.

It's not Jade. There is some Jade growing in the pot, but the main plant is something different.

It is also not a flowering plant, not sure if that helps narrow it down.

Heythere, Dude! How long have you had this plant? How did it come into your possession? Your location (city/state/country &/or garden zone?)

A Camellia inside might not get enough sun or fertility to bloom, so I wouldn't use lack of blooms as a clue at this point, but you obviously know a lot more about this plant than we do. When appearance isn't enough, getting into the details can often lead to something. And/or adding other pics from diff angles.

Thanks for your help everyone.

Metrosideros got it, it's almost certainly Rhaphiolepis umbellata!

You have all been very helpful!

I will be transferring this to a bigger pot soon, any idea where I can get information on the type of soil to use, etc?

Thank You!

Just a cheap organic rich soil. They do well here with little care.
