This is a very tall (12 ft high) pink blush rose at my home on Camano Island, Washington. It has extremely flat buds that look almost blighted and then they bloom into incredible ruffled and crinkled flat style (not cupped) roses.
I have searched David Austen roses and found nothing close to the shape. I am thinking it is an English rose
- no disease or black spot ever noted. Very little fragrance and not a large rose by any means - 3 bloomed out. It is along the size of Lavender Lassie roses. The former home owners spared no expense for this garden and I sure would love to know the name of this beauty.
Thank you!

OH, I AM SO IMPRESSED!!! It looks to be Piroutte indeed! No other rose matched the buds, quarter pattern inside the blossoms and tall arching canes but Piroutte!
You are a genius Margie and I thank you so very much! I love knowing the name of this special rose!
