Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost

The last one is a bearded iris. Good information on growing Irises here:
http://www.irises.org/About_Ir...

The rhizomes need good air circulation, so you'll want to remove your Vinca groundcover from growing through it.

I agree
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
