This is a native wildflower that grows on our land in NM. It comes up every year as soon as it gets a bit of rain. It grow about 3 ft high and 4 ft wide. The flowers close during the day, and open at night with a wonderful, sweet scent. They die completely back during the winter. Deer and rabbits seem to avoid it.

Thank you! I appreciate the ID. I really love these because they make our property smell so good on summer nights.

They sure are pretty! The only ones I've ever seen are Four o'Clocks (Mirabilis jalapa) which can be a pest plant here in Florida!

Those are pretty too, Lin. Too bad it's a pest there.
