|@plantmanager Karen, it is an Aubrieta, commonly referred to as 'Blaukissen' here which translates to 'Blue cushion'. I don't know why the title of the banner isn't displayed. It is shown right at the bottom of the page under the logo on the right. |
Today's site banner is by sunnyvalley and is called "Dew drops on Aubrieta"
@Calif_Sue must we always repeat the title in the comments when submitting a banner?
I took this photo a couple of days later when we had our last frost of the season

|Another lovely banner, Sharlene. Aubretia is one of those under-appreciated but immensely useful (as well as pretty) plants. Lovely effect with the dew drops.|

@cliftoncat As you say Aurbrieta is immensely useful in the garden and I do have quite a bit - probably the reason I take so many photos of it
