I live in south Louisiana (zone 9) & these do very well here, too. Thumbs up They are bothered by aphids sometimes which draws ants. In the home gardening world, Lovey dubby I love rooting cuttings from plants that don't make seeds. Syriacus grow relatively fast so I've recently started collecting any cuttings of the beautiful 'double +' varieties any one is willing to send me for postage. I've recently gotten 'Lady Stanley' & 'America Iris Scott' is on the way from people who don't enjoy the process of rooting & just throw away trimmings. As a regular trader on several gardening sites I cringe to think of the missed possibilities of sharing that beauty to be enjoyed. I'd appreciate it if you spread the word. Group hug Any one can send me a treemail & I'll get back to exchange addresses. Thank You! Trudy (tabbycat)
