Plant ID forum: Tall plant with ball of pink flowers

This plant is tall, between 2-3 feet with a single main stem and light green lightly ruffled leaves. There is currently one large round bloom of a cluster of pink flowers and several more buds.

Poppy somniferum... maybe this Peony Poppy (Papaver somniferum 'Purple Peony')

Yes! By all means, look through the whole Poppy entries in the Data Base. There are probably quite a few pink doubles that are possible.

I live in PA as well and I sprinkle poppy seeds everywhere because I love them. Maybe planted that! lol
