Hello, we have well-established Red Hot Pokers that bloom every year. However, some of the flower stems droop and fall forward to the ground, while the flower itself remains upright (see image).
What can be causing this?

We have others that get full sun all day, and they drop like that too. At first I thought it was spent blooms, but I've noticed this year that those are new blooms.

Just a thought. I haven't grown them for many years. Shrug!
