We had this orchid for quite some time and it was getting difficult to support the growning ends so I was just about to cut it off and I noticed that there were two flower buds at the end. It has no leaves but has something like a spike instead. I have never seen this type of orchid at our local nursery here in Hawaii. Can you please advise the name of this plant?

Thank you.

Thanks BigBill. The flower is spectacular and glad I didn't cut it down as it was getting too long!
