This plant is growing along a creek in a floodplain near my house (Zone 7a).
My preliminary ID is Cicuta maculata (Water Hemlock).
Does it look like that to others, or could it be something else?

In case anyone's wondering....yes, I do realize it was stupid of me to touch it with bare hands D'Oh!

It certainly looks like it.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
