This is just a complete guess, but maybe some sort of Melampodium ?

It does look like Melampodium of some sort, possibly Butter Daisy (Melampodium divaricatum)

I thought Melampodium from the thumbnail, but when I enlarged the picture I thought the leaves and stem-colour were more like Sanvitalia.
