Second full, and last, day in Trondheim. The weather this morning was awful and I didn't venture from the hotel until around 11 am. But I covered off the rest of the walking tour from yesterday (we left out a section in the middle). I also got tickets for the Archbishop's Palace Museum and the Crown Jewels and had an English language tour of the former. I also got the distance working on the map-my-run app and reckon we covered 3.5-4 km yesterday in addition to distance covered in the cathedral. Today it was almost 5 plus within museums.

And today I saw some sun. But sometimes I was wearing sunglasses and using an umbrella at the same time. If the weather had improved earlier I would have ventured to a musical instrument museum here, but it's not within walking distance and I don't think I've got time before dinner now.

DH and another colleague, also from the Ottawa area, are the external examiners for the PhD exam today. There will be a dinner at 7 to celebrate.

Then, we have a 6 am flight tomorrow back to Copenhagen where we will pass several hours in the airport before flying on to Hamburg, Germany. We return to Ottawa on Sunday via Frankfurt. There is a direct Frankfurt-Ottawa flight.

Ann, are you having fun whilst your hubby works, or is this a fun time for you both? Regardless, sounds fun except for the weather.

Supposed to be in the mid 70's today with the possibility of T-storms tonight. We'll see how that all goes.

Finished my Torture Chamber session and now am going to make my protein shake. Have to think of something enchanting for lunch, then Equity at 1. Hope we're not as swamped with calves as we were Monday. Well, not really all THAT many (188), but we had to tag almost 150 of them. Kept Jay and me hopping, that's for sure. I couldn't even radio in the information, Alison had to come out and get it.

I was just looking up solstice times and for some of you in western US or Canada, I guess it may actually have been late last night.

Yesterday, both of us were free to wander around here and DH met with the other examiner in the afternoon. Today it's just me.

Exercise today is airport walking. Now in Copenhagen airport SAS lounge for about 3 hours - awaiting a flight to Hamburg. We were up at 4 am to catch the airport bus (40 minutes) for a 6 am flight.

My exercise yesterday was going for a walk with my dog. As soon as I was far from home the rain started up and it rained hard. We had to walk home getting soaked in the rain. Lily was not happy at all!! Me neither but at least it was warm out.

My day's cardio was loading the wood from the tree the SU cut down that had partially fallen on the fence. Oh, gads..............humid, hot, sun beating down and I was running sweat out of every pore in my body. Plus, I had to throw all the brush over the fence into the pasture. Thought I was gonna die. I had to go stand in the shade a couple times and at times there was even a nice breeze. Could have just seen myself keeling over and the SU saying "Jeez, it's not THAT bad.........." I don't usually say much to him about it anymore because I think HE thinks I'm making it up.

Lots of exercise walking today. First off I simply took Lily and we did near three miles and then my friend came by and we did another mile of walking together. So lots of exercise walking today.

I did some yard work this morning for about an hour and a half. That was about it for me today.

I'll probably go to the gym tomorrow. The remnants of tropical storm Cindy have arrived here. It started raining about an hour ago and we're supposed to get 2 to 3" tomorrow.

I water walked last night and I'll do it again tonight. As soon as it cools down a bit.

I joined Weight Watchers yesterday online, will go to my first meeting on Tuesday.I did WW years ago, lost 50 pounds but no matter how often I move the pounds keep finding me, lol. My watermelon this morning has zero points but my coffee creamer habit will have to be adjusted, can't do 6 points for a cup of coffee. I'm not getting serious about the food until I weigh in on Tuesday. I paid for 6 months so I have to stick with it.
