Is there a way to search for daylilies taller than 36 in that have 7in or larger blooms?

I don't think you can in the NGA database. We don't have a "less than" or "greater than" option for height or bloom size. It sure would be nice if we did!
You can search the AHS database that way though. http://www.daylilies.org/Dayli...

Type 7 in the Bloom Size " at least" box and 36 in the Scape Height "greater than" box. This brings up 2704 so you may want to define your search more.

thanks, I was afraid of that. Would be great if there was a way to search a range here though. 2thousand is a little more than I want to wade through w the way the AHS database is set up. And there are hardly any pics, and very little info about the plants. I don't find it useful for much usually. Thumbs down I may try it but narrow the field a little and see what I get.
Thank You!

You're welcome. I've had to go to the AHS database quite a few times to do a search like yours so knew what you were asking. Agree, the NGA database is so much faster and easier...better, except for this one feature. Wonder if that would be an easy fix to our database? @dave

Not an easy fix at all, unfortunately, but not completely out of the question for the future.

The database was designed to be searched by absolute values, never ranges or "less than" or "greater than" comparisons.

It could happen but hard to say if and when.
