I thought it was Sugar and Spice, but the AIS description says the beard should be blue. This beard is the same gold as the falls. It is only about 14 inches tall in full bloom and an early bloomer.

It's very pretty, but I don't know what it is. Sighing!

I know. I bought the rhizomes at a Central Arkansas Iris Society Sale. At the time they had a picture, and I thought I had the name, but labels have "wandered" away. I even offered to organize their picture files, but no luck. From now on I am burying an extra label with the name under an edging brick by my rhizomes so that this doesn't happen again.

Lestv, you may be right. Thank you! I just checked the AIS site and their image looks just like mine. The height is a little off, but soil conditions could allow for that.

Height can change year to year as well. Check our database too. There are loads of pictures of Honey Glazed to compare with yours. Intermediate Bearded Iris (Iris 'Honey Glazed')

Honey Glazed was my first thought, too. It's one of my favorite early bloomers Smiling
