I have what is either a bush or a tree. We originally pruned it as a bush as it was in the honeysuckle hedge when we moved into our home. However a couple years ago I noticed some sort of fruit, or nut on it. Now I am thinking it may be a tree. I have spent hours pouring through google using descriptive terms, but haven't been able to successfully ID it. I finally realized I may be more successful if I joined a forum and asked some experts.

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me solve this mystery!

I saw one just this morning Smiling and it looks like a quince.

Thank you both so much. I cannot believe how quickly I got an answer, especially after how long I searched!

I am going to cut open a fruit once they mature and compare that to pictures as well just to make sure, but I am getting excited at the thought of being able to make preserves now that I know what it is. I am one happy lady now Big Grin
Thank You!
