Does a member still receive a partial acorn for associating another members photos to the database?

You get half an acorn for importing someone else's photos to the database. No acorns if they are your own photos.

Thanks @Dave! Member joannakat imported gasrocks photos in this post https://garden.org/thread/view... but didn't think she was awarded acorns for associating them to the database.

She did indeed get the acorns, and also got a system message verifying it.

The system message looks like this:

"Your image import proposal was approved. Your proposal to import this image into the database was approved by Calif_Sue. You got 0.5 acorns!"

That message would be repeated for each image she proposed to be imported.
