I planted two red hydrangeas in flower pot now they r both almost green. How can I get the red back?

I belive ! I read, that they like to be feed empson salt. Butt, don't know if it would bring color back.
Anything i say, could be misrepresented, or wrong.

Acid soil makes them blue and alkaline makes them pink. You'll have to change the PH in you soil. There is a lot of info out there on how to do that and it may take a couple of years to make it happen. If you have a soil meter, use it to find your current PH.

As hydrangea flowers age they often fade to green. It may just mean those blooms are finished. Do you know the name of your hydrangeas?
