Hey, could you identify this moss for me(ignore the plant beside it)? I found it in a pot and planted it in an emersed aquarium so it could grow better but I dont know what it is. I live in Portugal in the south (mediterranean climate) but I dont think the moss is from my area since it started growing in potting soil and I can´t find any other moss similar to it. Here are some pics of it:

@tourist585 welcome to NGA.

I don't think, from what I can see in your picture, that that is Christmas Moss Vesicularia montagne. Give this link a look.

The growth pattern reminds me of Anacharis/Elodea

Thanks @Moonhowl for the suggestion, now I can see that it isn´t Christmas Moss but I don´t think it´s Anacharis/Eeloda either, because the size of the moss I have is small it´s just 2 inches wide and I had an Anacharis plant in my real aquarium in the past, the Anacharis is just way too big.
After some better research I came to the conclusion and I think it is Pohlia flexuosa, I can´t add any links of it because I created a new account a few days ago.

I did some on-line snooping and found this info. Look at pg 6 on Pohlia flexuosa. It is a very tiny plant and it seems to be found in only a couple places. The Genus seems right, but I am not familiar enough to judge species.

I am including this link to images from Flickr as it has photos of a variety of Pohlia species.

Also, it helps in online ID to include as much "visual" info as possible. Knowing the size (height and width) of a plant in question helps considerably. You can use a common item next to the plant for reference (even a ruler).
